Senior Level Software Developer

This position is responsible for being the Senior Level .NET software developer for a proprietary point-of-sales software and leads a team of .NET developers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Develops and maintains a proprietary PA-DSS Compliant point-of-sales system using C# in the .NET 3.5 Framework
• Develops Windows applications (Windows Forms, Windows Presentation Foundation)
• Develops custom code using XAML and Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) design
• Develops ASP.net applications, Mobile (Compact Framework and web-based) applications
• Develops remote application communication (Web services, .NET Remoting, WCF) using C# and/or VB.NET
• Provide support to customers using various VPN and remote access software
• Customize and administer Team Foundation Server within Visual Studio Team System
• Responsible for anticipating problems, spot opportunities and must take a proactive approach to responsibilities.
• Ensures that all issues are dealt with in a timely manner. Must be able to problem solving.
• Ensures that communication skills area appropriate and will help to facilitate working within a team and with the customer.
• Be highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Be able to keep to a schedule and work to meet deadlines.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university; and/or five or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Windows Server 2003/2008/2008R2, Windows XP/Vista/7, Active Directory, Microsoft Office experience a plus.
• Applicable industry certifications are a plus.
• Knowledge of PA-DSS 1.2.1 or 2.0 compliance is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server. Retail management experience is a plus, but not required.
• Have minimum of 3 years experience with developing solutions using C#, .NET Framework 3.5+, XAML, Windows Presentation Foundation, Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) design pattern and object oriented design and development.
• Have proven experience with best practice software design and implementation.

This position will have overall responsibility for working on a variety of projects primarily involved in web site design and development, including creation of custom graphics. Responsible for designing the user interface and overall customer experience for our web sites and applications. Qualifications:

• Knowledge of HTML Web technologies and applications.

• Ability to coordinate with internal and external groups.
• Experience with audio/video demonstration technologies is highly desirable.
